Pappas Turns Himself In
- Written by E.Tsiliopoulos
Golden Dawn Mp, Christos Pappas turned himself in to police a little after 13.00 on Sunday.
During his entrance at Attica Police HQ (GADA), Pappas shouted "support for leader Nikos Mihaloliakos, Long live Golden Dawn."
Pappas who is considered no2 in the organization arrived at GADA in a taxi.He noted to reporters that he came of his own volition and that in the end nationalism would triumph, and that he remained "free."
Despite efforts by authorities to track him down throughout the country, Pappas remained at large for more than 24 hours. He did however, give a phone interview to radio station real fm.
Some press reports speculate that he remained beyond reach in order to destroy any evidence that could "burn" the organization and its cadres.
