GSEE Takes Part In PPC Worker's Protest Wednesday
The General Confederation of Employees of Greece (GSEE) executive committee, who serves as the private sector trade union, has now supported the PPC worker's union GENOP, as reported by ANA-MPA.
Both will attend a scheduled Syntagma Square protest on Wednesday night, organized by GENOP. Wednesday marks the day when the "small PPC" mandate will hold a Parliamentary final vote.
It has also been reported that GSEE has claimed: "to reinforce on a trade union, legal and economic level the fair struggle of GENOP". The organization has also urged all Greek labour agencies to conduct rallies on Wednesday.
GSEE further added that it hopes that the governmental administration, "takes back the undemocratic measure of political mobilization of PPC employees and of all other sectors where the measure has been applied and that it ceases from maltreating the democratic principles, turning the Constitution to shreds".
