Healthcare Sector Joins ADEDY Strike Wednesday
Wednesday's scheduled strike by ADEDY will be joined by Greece's public health sector.
As reported, doctors and medical workers will participate in the 24-hour protest in retaliation for a new protocol analyzing public sector employees.
Today, the National Federation of Public Hospital Staff (POEDHN) offered the following announcement: "The government, via the new evaluation system, is seeking to 'construct' new victims that will be turned over to slake the 'appetite' of the troika. It is machinating the break-up and privatisation of the public sector in health and welfare", as reported by ANA-MPA.
