After holding a meeting today with Cyprus Airways' unions, AKEL chief Andros Kyprianou stated, "Cyprus Airways could be saved if the government was truly interested in saving it".
AKEL Secretary General Andros Kyrpianou voiced his stance, that current UN-authorized negotiations between the two territories of Cyprus should grant President Nicos Anastasiades' returned participation as soon as possible.
Prosecutors investigating the collapse of the Cypriot economy show that 1.2 million euros was given to conservative DISY and communist AKEL parties by Greek company FOCUS.
