The dead body of a man was recovered on Friday from the fuselage of the private helicopter, which had crashed into the sea off the coast of North Evia on Thursday morning.
The helicopter that fell on Thursday morning in North Evia, which is currently in the grip of Storm Elias, was a private flight with two people on board, according to sources. The helicopter disappeared from the Civil Aviation Authority's radar while flying over the island at Achladi Beach, near the seaside village of Agia Anna.
A 22-year-old man was fatally injured in a helicopter accident on Monday at a heliport in the Spata township, near the Athens International Airport, east of the Greek capital.
