Three new stations on the extension of Metro Line 3 (blue line) to Piraeus are to be delivered for use by the travelling public on Monday, October 10, at 14:00 in the afternoon. The stations “Maniatika”, “Piraeus” and “Dimotiko Theatro” are expected to greatly relieve traffic congestion around Greece’s largest port, as well as creating a direct rail link to the Athens international airport.

Metro line 3 trains will arrive at the “Municipal Theater” station of Piraeus this morning, while the routes to “Eleftherios Venizelos” airport will now run every 36 minutes!
