Tourist arrivals to exceed 28.5 mln this year

Tourist arrivals are expected to exceed 26 million this year from 24.8 million in 2016, while including sea cruise arrivals could surpass 28.5 million despite a 20 pct decline in sea cruise traffic because of geopolitical developments in the wider Southeastern Mediterranean, the Institute of Greek Tourism Confederation (SETE) said in a report on Greek tourism.

Athens: 14% rise in tourist arrivals in Q1

Athens recorded a 14 percent increase in tourist arrivals in the first three months of 2017 compared with the same period last year, according to data presented on Thursday by city mayor George Kaminis and Aegean Airlines Vice President Eftihios Vasilakis in a joint press conference.

Tourist arrivals post a 5 pct increase

The tourism flow to Greece posts a 5 percent increase so far, stated Alternate Tourism Minister Elena Kountoura to "Praktoreio 104.9 FM" on Friday underlining that taking under consideration the prevailing conditions in Greece, it is a big increase.
