EOPYY Announces New Committees
Today, the National Organization for the Provision of Healthcare Services (EOPYY) declared that new specialization committees will be created
The committee's responsibilities involve approving drugs and treatments that are not currently available in Greece, and expensive rare-disease medications. EOPYY also confirmed the establishment of eight more committees, which will administer requests for infertility treatment related procedures.
The committees will have offices in Athens, Thessaloniki, Piraeus, Heraklion, Larissa, Patras, Ioannina and Alexandroupoli. They will contain 269 general and 132 substitute members.
