Albanian nationalists continue harassment of Greek minority
- Written by E.Tsiliopoulos
Provocatons against the Greek minority in Albania have become an everyday phenomenon.
Albanian nationalists once again appear provocative against the Greek minority in northern Epirus.
According to the statements of the President of the Greek minority party "OMONIA" Mr. Leonidas Pappas once more the Greek Flag at the headquarters of the organization in Agioi Saranda became the target of extremist Albanians.
Unknown persons burned the Greek flag at dawn on 2 May.
Indeed, as Mr Pappas argues, it is futile to denounce the incident to the Albanian police, since in the past the authorities of the neighboring country did not show any sensitivity to find the perpetrators.
