The next US ambassador to Greece, Kimberly Guilfoyle, spoke publicly for the first time about taking on her new position.

Kimberly Guilfoyle spoke on her show, on the Rumble platform, expressing her joy at President-elect Donald Trump's announcement of the opportunity he gave her to serve in Greece, while describing this position as a "great honor."

"It is a tremendous honor to serve in the birthplace of democracy," she said characteristically.

As she said, her goal is to work closely with the Greeks, whom she described as "close allies" of the US and seeks to contribute to development, prosperity and peace, maintaining the dynamic relationship between the two states.

Guilfoyle pledged to support the strengthening of Greece’s power at all levels

In her discussion with Greek-American businessman John Catsimatidis, a member of the Greek diaspora, Guilfoyle pledged to support our country so that it remains a pillar of stability in the region. In response to Mr. Catsimatidis’ concerns about the protection of the Greek islands from Turkey, Ms. Guilfoyle reacted positively, saying that she would make every effort to strengthen Greece’s power at all levels.

Fan of Greek cuisine

She then revealed that she is a fanatic of Greek cuisine and that her favorites are honey, yogurt and lamb. She also shared the tradition she had of celebrating her birthday with Greek dishes at the “Kokkari” restaurant in San Francisco.

For his part, the Greek supermarket and real estate tycoon expressed optimism about the new ambassador's positive contribution to Greek-American relations and proposed organizing a large farewell party in Washington before she takes office.

Finally, Kimberly Guilfoyle spoke warmly of Mr. Catsimatidis, calling him "an inspiration to many" and praising his contribution as an example of the "American dream." She also invited him to accompany her to Greece, suggesting that he become "President"
