Today, Ecumenical Patriarch Bartholomew held a meeting with Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas and Israeli President Shimon Peres in the Holy Lands.

A historical meeting will take place in Jerusalem this coming Sunday, between Ecumenical Patriarch Vartholomeos and Pope Francis.

Greek President Karolos Papoulias on Friday will meet with Pope Francis in the Vatican. Papoulias will travel to Rome to inaugurate jointly with his Italian counterpart Giorgio Napolitano an exhibition of Greek and Italian antiquities.
