Cyprus is a leader in the hotel industry within the European Union and hosts the largest amount of 5-star hotels, regarding its population ratio.

The Cyprus Tourism Organization has confirmed that prices have decreased at various seaside eatery and beverage spots, while there has been a decrease in the amount of businesses that overcharge on goods concerning their listed cost.

Cyprus is experiencing an increase in tourism originating from France, Britain, Israel, Austria, Germany and Holland.
