  • Written by

Harvard University's Center for Hellenic Studies and the Filepkpedeftiki Etairia recently conducted a one-day conference on "Digital Humanities and Applications in Education" in Athens.

The event was held under the auspices of the Greek Ministry of Education and supported by the U.S. Embassy in Athens. Over 450 participants attended the conference, that included Greek academics from the nation's universities, college scholars, private and public school advisors and general citizens.

Harvard professors presented an American outlook on how digital mechanisms have assisted the curriculum at U.S. higher educational institutions. A live-streaming broadcast of the event's discussions were watched by nearly 10,000 spectators.
