American-Hellenic Chamber of Commerce Offers U.S. Expat Tax Seminar
The American-Hellenic Chamber of Commerce is hosting an "U.S. Expat Tax Seminar" in Athens, on Tuesday, March 10th.
The tax seminar is geared towards Americans living abroad and will be held from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., at The American School of Classical Studies at 61 Souidias Street, in Kolonaki. The free event is led by an expert on expatriate tax concerns.
As the American-Hellenic Chamber of Commerce states on its website, "This is an excellent opportunity for anyone interested in the unique tax filing and bank report obligations of U.S. citizens working or living abroad."
The seminar covers a wide range of issues including U.S. citizenship taxation, Foreign Earned Income Exclusion (FEIE) usage, Foreign Bank Account Report (FBAR), the Foreign Account Tax Compliance Act (FATCA), and tax return and FBAR filing compliance for delinquent American taxpayers.
