Central Park's Multiple Mugging Teenagers Arrested

  • Written by

16-year-old Angel Munoz is being charged on two robbery counts, after conducting multiple Central Park muggings early this morning.

The Bronx teenager is being questioned, along with three other youngsters. The others are 12, 13 and 14 years in age. Their fate is yet to be determined, as law officials are finalizing their charges in the minor courts system.

It has been reported that the teenagers attacked a 32-year-old male at 5th Avenue and 95th Street, at approximately 5:15 a.m. The robbers held a stick and threatened the victim, demanding all of his valuables. After the man refused, one of the boys socked him in the face, before running inside the Park.

After arriving inside Central Park, the four perpetrators mugged two females and ran away with an iPod and iPhone, near 96th Street and the reservoir. They were then arrested at 96th Street and 5th Avenue. A park user exclaimed to CBS 2: "That's terrible, terrible...We never have had anything like that. I hope something will be done".
