Cypriot Unemployment Rate Increases
Cyprus' seasonally regulated unemployment figure stood at 16.8% in November 2014, compared to 16.5% the previous month, as confirmed by Eurostat.
The EU's statistical agency's seasonally modified Euro area unemployment rate stood at 11.5% in November. The EU28's amount was confirmed at 10.0%, marking a decline of .1% from October.
Within the European Union, Greece held the highest unemployment rate followed by Spain, while Austria held the lowest at 2.9% and Germany ranked second at 5.0%.
