Cypriots Hold Bleak Outlook On Economy

A analysis conducted by Eurobarometer revealed that most Cypriots have a negative outlook on the EU and the general condition of Cyprus.

The survey's results were offered at Nicosia's House of Representatives and found that citizens don't trust Cypriot policies, while many feel additional discontent, in comparison to previous years, according to Parikiaki.

The study also noted that participants are not very hopeful for advancements on a personal, nationwide, or EU position. The analysis' results concluded that while 80% of Cypriots feel satisfied in their lives, 93% believe that the nation had a bad economic outlook. 34% believe that their own finances are bad, while 39% feel that that they are good.

93% regard the Cypriot employment sector as bad, in comparison to the 73% average of the entire EU. As a nation, Cypriots held the largest percentage at 72%, claiming that they don't feel connected to Europe or the EU; 93% of Cypriot survey takers consider their identity as national and not European.
