U.S. & French Presidents Discuss Greek Developments
U.S. President Barack Obama conversed with French President François Hollande, concerning the current situation in Greece.
The two leaders spoke on the telephone about the troubled nation. The presidents agreed to relaunch their collaborative efforts, regarding financing and reforms, so that Greece may return to debt sustainability and growth within the Eurozone, according to the U.S. Embassy in Athens.
Presidents Obama and Hollande stated that their financial teams are in constant communications. The two leaders confirmed that they are closely following the occurrences in Greece and in the larger financial markets.
During the phone call between the premiers, President Obama gave his condolences over the Lyon terrorist attack and fatality last week. The U.S. President reconfirmed his dedication to counterterrorism efforts with France.
