Roussopoulos meets with UN Secretary General Guterres, in New York

The President of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe Theodoros Roussopoulos is currently attending an international conference on gender equality in action (68th Session of the Commission on the Status of Women) organized by the United Nations in New York alongside women from various parts of the world.
During the conference Roussopoulos had a discussion with the UN Secretary-General António Guterres focusing on various aspects of gender equality, including equality in the workplace, within families, and in providing opportunities for women across all spheres of professional and social life.
Additionally, they exchanged perspectives on the bilateral relations between the UN and the Council of Europe.
