Malaysia Airlines Flight 370's Relatives Demand Answers

  • Written by

Today, a drone was deployed to the Indian Ocean's bottom, marking its fifth trip in the Malaysia Airlines Flight 370 search.

The passengers of the missing jetliner's relatives are further pressing for concrete answers. As reported by New Greek TV earlier this week, they want responses to all 26 documented questions they collectively wrote, from officials by next week.

Their desperate inquiries include: What's in the flight's log book? Can they review the jet's maintenance records? Can they listen to recordings of the Boeing 777 pilot's conversations with air traffic controllers just before contact was lost? Acting Malaysian Transport Minister Hishammuddin Hussein believes his government has handled the issue well and stated, "The most difficult part of any investigation of this nature is having to deal with the families".

The Transport Minister confirmed today that officials may deploy additional unmanned underwater tools. The search region is 30 miles wide and 370 miles long. It is predicted that the underwater quest will occur for six to eight more weeks, at the very least. Ocean Search Specialist Rob McCallum described, "This is a very complex operation...It's going to be a game of patience now."
