Saudi Arabian Prince Interested in Astir Palace Resort
Saudi Arabian Prince Al-Waleed bin Talal bin Abdulaziz al Saud has declared his interest in Astir Palace Resort in Vouliagmeni.
The Prince, who also is the owner and chief executive of Kingdom Holding Company, told Prime Minister Antonis Samaras his intentions concerning the southern Athens luxury resort, at his office yesterday.
Kingdom Holding Company owns 45% of the Four Seasons, with Cascade Investment Company controlling another 45%. Saudi Arabia is also interested in other hotel chains across various regions in the Hellenic state. The Middle Eastern nation is also attracted to the privatization of Greek enterprises, including ports and railway systems and Public Power Corporation.
At yesterday's "Europe & Arab World: Strengthening Political, Business & Investment Ties" conference, Prince Al-Waleed bin Talal bin Abdulaziz al Saud stated that Greece is now back on track, as a result of its respected monetary efforts.
