Cypriot President Attends EU Leaders Dinner, Brussels
Cypriot President Nicos Anastasiades is currently in Brussels, to attend an informal European Union leaders dinner.
During the event, discussions between nation heads will center on the Ukrainian crisis and the European Parliament Elections. According to Parikiaki, Deputy Government Spokesman Victoras Papadopoulos reported that delegates will also discuss the new Commission President, that Cyprus supports, along with EU sanctions administered on Russia.
President Anastasiades met with Permanent Representatives of Cyprus to the EU in Brussels, and conversed on the island's divide, its economic status, energy activities and Cyprus-EU relations.
