Venizelos Voices Support On Netherlands’ Malaysian Flight 17 Proposal

The Netherlands suffered the most fatalities during the plane crash over Ukraine. Venizelos stated: “We want a full and immediate implementation of the unanimous decision of the Security Council and it is important that Russia voted for this decision in the Security Council. The conclusions of the Council of Foreign Ministers today send a very clear message not only about the tragic event, but generally the situation in eastern Ukraine”, as reported by ANA-MPA.

The Government Vice-President and Foreign Minister added: "we believe that there is a unanimous European position, which reinforces the political entity of the EU and its ability to play a key role in the developments in the region associated with the security of the European continent. But what is more important is the respect for the victims, respect for the families and their next of kin”.
