Cyprus Assists Gaza & Syria Inhabitants
Cypriot Minister of Interior Socrates Hasikos stated that the nation is apt to receive European citizens or third nation citizens, trying to escape Gaza and Syria en route to their final location, as reported by Parikiaki.
The Minister described that Cyprus will be facilitated to act as a three to four day transit destination for travelers. Hasikos commented that Cyprus has the means to host citizens, looking to leave the violently plagued regions.
When asked if the EU will assist Cyprus, the Minister of Interior Socrates Hasikos claimed that a European effort which encompasses all member nations, has been put in place.
