Japanese Vice Minister for Foreign Affairs Makino Travels to Cyprus
Japan's Parliamentary Vice Minister for Foreign Affairs Takao Makino traveled to Cyprus today for a two-day trip.
As stated in an official press announcement, Makino is scheduled to meet with Cypriot Minister of Foreign Affairs Ioannis Kasoulides, as reported by Parikiaki.
The two premiers are set to discuss the Cyprus issue, bilateral relations, current regional developments, EU and Japan relationships, along with relevant global matters.
The Cypriot and Japanese Ministers will conduct a press conference after the completion of discussions by the two governments.
Makino will also convene with Special Representative of the UN Secretary General in Cyprus Liza Buttenheim and Greek-Cypriot negotiator Andreas Mavroyiannis.
