NATO remains a factor of stability in a fluid and uncertain global environment, Prime Minister Antonis Samaras said on Friday after meeting with NATO Secretary General Anders Fogh Rasmussen.

NATO Secretary General Anders Fogh Rasmussen thanked Greece for its enduring support to the Alliance including its support of Smart Defence projects despite tough economic times after his talks with Greek Foreign Minister Evangelos Venizelos in Athens on Thursday.

"There will be no new measures," reiterated prime minister Antonis Samaras speaking to New Democracy's political secreatriat.
