In the next 24 hours we should expect developments in relation to the implementation of the Republic of Cyprus's energy plan, Cypriot Foreign Minister Nikos Christodoulides said today.

Greek Cypriot President Nicos Anastasiades has called Turkey's deployment of a survey vessel to drill for hydrocarbons near the island a "second invasion" and a breach of international law, Greek newspaper Ekathimerini reported on Tuesday.

EU diplomatic chief Federica Mogherini on Saturday urged Turkey to reconsider plans to start exploratory drilling for oil and gas off Cyprus, already condemned as illegal by the European Union.
