Greek Economic Sentiment Hits 103.7 Points

The Institute for Economic and Industrial Research revealed that Greece's economic sentiment index soared to 103.7 points last month, marking its highest level since 2008's April.

Markit Reports Greek PMI Decrease

In today's Markit report, it was announced that Greece's seasonally altered Purchasing Managers' Index decreased to 49.4 points last month, from May's 51 point score.

Olive Oil Production & Consumption Declines

Infobank Hellastat conducted a survey that revealed olive oil intake has dropped in Greece over the last couple of years, as a result of lower incomes.  Consumers are cutting costs wherever they can, even in basic food necessities.
