World forum of diaspora media announced

University of Ioannina professor, Nicoletta Tsitsanoudi-Mallidis, and director of the International Summer University "Greek Language, Culture and Media", which met last week in Boston, plans to expand and attempt a World Forum of Greek diaspora Media for 2025.

Specifically, as announced by Ms. Tsitsanoudi-Mallidis, she plans to assemble directors and heads of the Greek diaspora media from North and South America, Europe, Australia, Africa and Asia in a global meeting on the subject of the presence of the Greek language and culture across the globe. The relevant list of media serving Greek culture is already being drawn up and an invitation to participate will be sent out at the beginning of September.

Rhodes: Authorities shut down beach bar with sunbeds in the sea

A coordinated intervention by the Ministry of National Economy and Finance, the Hellenic Police and Independent State Revenue Authority-AADE took place at 7 this morning on the beach of Agia Marina, Rhodes.
