Greece’s Ministry of Culture will stage 190 free live performances across 94 ancient archaeological sites and museums this summer, marking a major expansion of the country’s efforts to decentralize its modern art scene.

Sixty-six archaeological sites and museums in 51 regions beyond Attica will provide the stage for 70 new arts productions over the summer, the Greek Ministry of Culture & Sports announced on Wednesday.
