Ruling New Democracy intends to use the vote for Greeks abroad in order to change the composition of the electorate, main opposition SYRIZA MP George Katrougalos claimed in an interview with 'RealNews' on Sunday.

Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis will have successive meetings with political leaders on Friday to discuss the voting rights of Greeks living abroad.

"It is a time for the political system to behave responsibly and prove that it can do what is self-evident and makes sense," Interior Minister Takis Theodorikakos said on Monday on the issue of allowing Greeks abroad to vote from their place of residence.
