President of the Hellenic Republic Prokopios Pavlopoulos on Friday signed the honorary naturalisation of American actor Tom Hanks as a Greek citizen. 

Evidence has been uncovered of an illegal naturalisations racket that helped dozens of Syrians and Lebanese to fraudulently acquire Greek citizenship, the General Inspector of Public Administration Maria Papaspyrou revealed on Tuesday, talking to the radio station 'Sto Kokkino'.

Albanian journalist Gazmend Kapllani, who also wrote for the newspaper "TA NEA", known for his "criticism" against Greece and the Greek State, finally revealed his real face, that of a tough Albanian nationalist, who was secretly concealed under the the image of the afflicted immigrant.
