Greek primary surplus at 2.65 billion

The primary surplus in the 10-month period January - October 2014 stood at 2.65 billion euros was, while the budget deficit stood at 2.44 billion euros.
According to the final operational data of the State Budget, released Tuesday by the General Accounting Office the primary balance in the 10-month period of 2014 stood at a surplus of € 2.65 billion euros against primary surplus of 2.59 billion euros for the same period in 2013. The deficit in the balance of the State Budget amounted to 2.44 billion euros compared to a deficit of 2.95 billion euros in the corresponding period of 2013 and the project objective Budget 2015 deficit of 1.56 billion euros.
