Greek energy and metals group METLEN is set to begin trading on the London Stock Exchange on Monday, after the company announced it had successfully completed a key share exchange offer with over 90% shareholder participation.
The company's Chairman and CEO, Evangelos Mytilineos, called the milestone a “great day for METLEN” and thanked shareholders for sending a “clear message of trust” in the company’s strategy.
In a message to investors, Mr. Mytilineos said the move to London will enhance the company’s global profile, improve liquidity, and expand its access to international markets.
He emphasized that the company will maintain a dual listing in both London and Athens, “honoring our roots and strengthening our presence on both exchanges.”
The successful offering paves the way for the company's transition from a national champion to an international leader in its sector.
