The European Commission has planned to amend its financial assistance, regarding Greek nectarine and peach production that is being negatively affected by Russia's EU embargo.
The European Commission authorized 125 million euros to assist fruits and vegetables that are liable to spoilage, concerning Russia's EU food and agricultural embargo.
Overabundance of specific products may be absorbed by Greek tourism units, as was noted in a circular from the Association of Greek Tourism Enterprises (SETE). In the letter addressed to SETE members, and especially to hoteliers, the organization points out they should offer such goods for their guests' consumption.
