President Sakellaropoulou inaugurates Gaitis-Simosi Museum in Ios

The President of the Republic Katerina Sakellaropoulou inaugurated the Gaitis - Simosi Museum in Ios, in the presence of the Minister of Culture Lina Mendoni, underlining that it is "a gift to the youth, a jewel for Ios, but also an offer to all Greeks."
Sakellaropoulou pointed out that "the two artists meet, from different paths in a mututal vision of the world. And they co-exist, partners in life and art, here, in this beautiful Museum, designed and implemented by their daughter Loretta Gaiti, with the undivided support of the Municipality of Ios and the help of the Ministry of Culture."
She also pointed out that this is a "work of love, a daughter's pride for her great parents and a moral obligation towards their artistic heritage."
