Angelina Papadopoulou: Describes her impressions of Jolie and her sons on set

The young actress who plays 17-year-old Maria Callas in Pablo Larrain's film "Maria", was invited to the show "The 2night Show", with her talking about her acquaintance with the Hollywood star, but also with her sons, Maddox and Pax, who participated in the film as members of the production.

"It's a great honor, of course. In addition to Angelina, who is obviously one of the greatest actresses at the moment, Pablo Larrain as a director is also very well known in the field and was very helpful. We first met in early October, we got to know each other and we had 10 days of filming and rehearsals,” Angelina Papadopoulou initially said.

Describing her first meeting with Angelina Jolie, Angelina Papadopoulou revealed: “The meeting with Angelina was special. It was in the afternoon. I knew she would come, but I couldn’t imagine what happened, I didn’t imagine that we would get so close. I was in the dressing room and I was preparing what to say to her, I was nervous.”

“The time for the filming we had together comes and I see Angelina Jolie walking out of the green room and out of the corner of her eye she sees me. She turned back and entered the room, and I got up and went to her, I gave her my hand to introduce myself and she hugged me. She said to me, “I’m so happy that you’re working with us, I’ve heard so many good things about you.” I told her, “I’m honored, I’m very proud, it’s my first film job,” and she replied, “I’m sure you’ll do many more.” I felt very warm at that moment, she gave me affection, like a mother,” she added.

At another point in her interview, the young actress also talked about the relationship she developed with the famous actress’s sons, Pax and Maddox.

“I hung out with Maddox, it was a lot of fun. Maddox and Pax were in the production as assistants. They made a very good impression on me, as if they weren’t childlren of a star. Maddox was in charge of my filming, we are close in age and we were a good match to hang out. I have invited him to Greece, I hope he comes in the summer. The invitation has been extended to both of them, several times. They were very good kids, very simple guys. During one filming it was raining, I was under the umbrella and Maddox wouldn't come in so I wouldn't get wet," said Angelina Papadopoulou.
