Kimon Kouris will participate in the upcoming film “The Riders” starring Brad Pitt, which is currently being filmed in Greece.
The film’s director, Edward Berger, is adding two more important names to the cast of his new film, Lara Pulver and Kimon Kouris. Part of the filming of the much-discussed production has already taken place in Hydra, Chalkida, Nea Makri, Kotzia Square, Menidi and Penteli.
Details about the characters have not yet been revealed. The ambitious production is based on the novel of the same name by Australian author Tim Whedon, published in 1994. The story follows Scully, “an Australian who travels across Europe with his young daughter, Billie, in search of his wife who abandoned them.”
In addition to Brad Pitt, who plays the lead role, the cast is rounded out by Julian Nicholson, Coco Greenstone, Michael Smiley, Danny Huston, Camille Cotten and Ulrich Thomsen.
David Katzanik has adapted the script. Ridley Scott and Michael Preuss of Scott Free are producing, along with the screenwriter and Berger on behalf of Nine Hours, as well as Pitt, Jeremy Kleiner and Dede Gardner for Plan B Entertainment. According to Deadline, A24 is financing the film and will handle its international distribution.
On the morning of Wednesday, March 18, filming of Brad Pitt’s new film resumed at the imposing Duchess Plakentias Mansion in Penteli. The famous actor was photographed arriving at the Mansion, wearing the same clothes he has worn throughout filming: dark jeans and a blue sweater. In the footage, Pitt is seen getting out of a black Jeep and heading towards the interior of the building.
