The filming of Emily in Paris continues at the windmills of Mykonos, with the series' star, Lily Collins, and members of the Netflix production team.
On the morning of Tuesday, May 19, shortly after 10, the actress arrived at the location where some scenes will be filmed, wearing a long blue and white dress and sunglasses. As can be seen in the photos, the preparation for the scenes with the star is underway, while after the windmills the crew is expected to be transferred to the straits of the country.
For the needs of the production, a dressing room has been set up in a space rented in the island of Mykonos. There, the preparation for the day's scenes is taking place, with clothes, accessories and styling pieces that will be used in the filming. As can be seen in the images, the space has been specially designed for the needs of the crew, as Collins' preparation for the scenes that will be filmed today is underway.
Today's filming will take place at the windmills of Mykonos, one of the most characteristic spots on the island. For this purpose, the production has rented two private windmills, so that the shots planned for the program can be taken. After completing the scenes at this location, the crew is expected to continue in the alleys of the country.
The first image from the filming showed the protagonist of the series, on a beach in Mykonos, along with members of the crew. The actress was seen in Agios Sostis wearing a white shirt and holding a red bag, while filming began at approximately 5 am on Monday, May 18.
The filming on the island of the winds is estimated to last approximately two weeks, while the extras participating in the production are paid 150 euros per shoot. The presence of international production on the island has already generated interest, as Emily in Paris is one of Netflix’s most recognizable series.
The series follows the story of a young American woman who leaves the Midwest to work for a French marketing firm in Paris. Throughout her life in the French capital, Emily tries to balance professional demands, cultural differences, friendships, and romantic relationships.
