Dendias Refuses Answers to Questions from Golden Dawn
- Written by E.Tsiliopoulos
The decision to stop answering parliamentary queries tendered by jailed Golden Dawn deputies was announced by public order minister Nikos Dendias, in parliament today.
As he maintained, from the moment they are on trial for setting up and running a criminal organization, any answers to their queries, in the framework of parliamentary oversight, would go against parliamentary and constitutional ethos.
On Monday afternoon, two of the three jailed Golden Dawn MPs, Yannis Lagos and Hristos Pappas, tendered three queries to parliament in written form.
