Varoufakis Finance Minister
- Written by E.Tsiliopoulos
Yanis Varoufakis is the new finance minister, according to what he wrote in his blog.
In a related post, he is determined to keep the status of blogger, along with the status of minister. The post said: "They told me it was time to stop (the blogging) or simply shut up."
I intend to defy these tips. To continue blogging here, although normally it is considered irresponsible for a minister of Finance to be exhausted in such communication. Naturally the posts will become increasingly rare and brief. But I hope to compensate you with more juicy opinions, comments and ideas. To revive the hope we should all try to change the ways of the grim past. Maintaining an open line with the outside world can be a small step in this direction. So, keep watching the blog."
