- Written by E.Tsiliopoulos
Prime Minister Alexis Tsipras and German Chancellor Angela Merkel will discuss on Monday the economic crisis, bilateral relations on a political, economic and diplomatic level, regional issues and the EU’s future, government sources said on Sunday, commenting on the meeting between the two leaders in Berlin.
Following the seven-party meeting on the sidelines of the EU summit in Brusels, the climate between the two countries has changed and the two sides will discuss all subjects without pressure, the sources said.
Tsipras is expected to leave Athens at 11.00 on Monday, while his meeting with Merkel is scheduled for 17.00 (local time). The two leaders will then make joint statements and will answer a few questions. Tsipras and Merkel will continue with a working lunch which will include five associates from each side.
