Rouvas "Axion Esti" interpreration gets mixed reviews

The concert in honor for the 90 years since the birth of Mikis Theodorakis, on Saturday, in the central square of Nea Smyrni and in which pop singer Sakis Rouvas interpreted Axion Esti met with mixed reactions.
Since the day of its announcement the concert continues to divide and remains one of the main topics of discussion on social media. The interpretation received mixed reviews.
Others commented negatively saying that Sakis Rouvas doesn't have the necessary artistic maturity, while for others the pop musician rose to the occasion.
With a post on facebook Sakis Rouvas thanked the people that watched the much vaunted concert "It was a huge challenge for me and I accepted the applause as vindicating our efforts," he said among other thing.
"The interpretive results do the work far from the justice. Well done, however, for trying ..." wrote on his account on the social networking site, the son of Gregoris Bithikotsis, the emblematic singer that is most connected with the famous opus.
