Greek Parliament Revokes GD & ND Deputy’s Immunity
In a vote today, Greek Parliament decided to revoke the prosecution immunity of two deputies.
The deputies involved are Golden Dawn spokesman lias Kasidiaris and New Democracy member Vassilis Giogiakas. Kasidiaris' immunity was ended, due to reports that he attacked a cameraman outside an Athens judicial building.
The Golden Dawn member is a defendant in a continuing case, concerning the extremely right winged political party's illegal acts. Giogiakas is associated in a case covering a photovoltaics establishment on a piece of land, that occurred during his reign as Thesprotia's governor.
