Potami leader calls on Tsipras, Meimarakis to TV debates

Potami party called on all political leaders on Tuesday to agree to a televised debate with direct dialog between leaders, noting that the usual pattern of monologues are pointless.
“The parallel monologues of 7-8 political leaders make no sense as each person is merely parroting the prepared answers written by their associates,” Potamni said in a statement adding that this is what has been happening for decades in all developed democracies.
In this spirit, party leader Stavros Theodorakis invited outgoing Prime Minister Alexis Tsipras and main opposition leader Vangelis Meimarakis in an open televised discussion.
