President of New Democracy visits Crete

President of New Democracy, Vaggelis Meimarakis, is touring Crete, as part of pre-election campaigning.
Mr. Meimarakis will first visit Lassithi (Neapoli and Agios Nikolaos) on Wednesday morning, where he will meet the local Governor of Lassithi and all Mayors.
Then, he will go to Heraklion, where he will speak in public at the “Astoria” cinema.
On Thursday, Mr. Meimarakis will meet the Governor of Crete, Mr. Stavros Arnaoutakis and Mayors of Heraklion Prefecture.
Afterwards he will go to Perama, Mylopotamos and then to Rethymno, where he will meet the local Governor of Rethymno and Mayors of Rethymno Prefecture.
Mr. Meimarakis will end his visit to Crete in Chania Prefecture. The president of New Democracy will lay a wreath at Venizelos Tombs in Akrotiri. Then, he will meet the local Governor of Chania and at 6.30 p.m. he will hold a Press conference. Mr. Meimarakis will complete his visit on Crete by speaking in public, at “Portokali” (Platanias).
