New Democracy party MP Giorgos Koumoutsakos on Friday pressed charges against the unknown individuals that assaulted him outside Parliament on Thursday afternoon, during a rally by various associations representing Pontic Greeks.
The rally was held at Syntagma square to protest against statements made by Education Minister Nikos Filis.
The former minister filed a lawsuit with the first-instance court prosecutors office in Athens, while also supplying photographs of his assailants. He made no statements as he left.
