The Aikaterini Laskaridis Foundation was awarded by the Academy of Athens during its Solemn Session, which took place on Thursday, December 18. Specifically, it was awarded the Prize by the 3rd Class of Moral and Social Sciences for its great and continuous contribution to the fields of Culture and Education, in our country and internationally.

The Prize was received by the President of the Academy of Athens, Mr. Michalis Tiberios, and the Director of Academic Affairs of the Foundation, Ms. Kali Kyparissi.

For the Aikaterini Laskaridis Foundation, this honorary distinction constitutes a special recognition and seal of its timeless contribution at a symbolic time, as it coincides with the completion of the anniversary year for its 30 years of presence and social action. At the same time, it is a source of inspiration and responsibility for the continuation and further strengthening of his work.

On the occasion of the award, the Vice President of the Foundation, Katerina Laskaridi, states: “Faithful to our vision and values, for 30 years we have sought to open new paths and to practically alleviate inequalities through actions in culture, education, health, shipping and society as a whole.
