The bodies of four missing migrants recovered off Farmakonissi

The bodies of four migrants (an infant, a woman and two men) were recovered on Thursday at the sea region northeast of Farmakonissi who were passengers of a wooden boat, that carried approximately 50 migrants, that sank on Wednesday near this island.
The number of the dead migrants now reached 16 while the rescue operation to locate 8 missing persons, that according to the rescued migrants testimonies were also on the boat, continues.
The 26 rescued migrants are being temporarily hosted on Leros island.
