EU Parliament VP Papadimoulis congratulates Schulz for his election as SPD leader

European Parliament Vice President Dimitris Papadimoulis on Monday congratulated former European Parliament President Martin Schulz for his election as the leader of Germany's Social Democrats (SPD) party.
The election of Schulz will have a positive impact on the course of Greece and the European Union, Papadimoulis posted on Twitter.
"Congratulations to Martin Schulz. A progressive turn of Germany will have a positive impact on the European Union and Greece's course," he said.
